This short presentation gives an introduction of the work on alpha-manganese dioxide for oxygen evolution. We did elastic recoil detection (ERD) and Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS) analysis at the Surrey Ion Beam Centre, which confirmed the proton incorporated reaction mechanism.
